"Das Ausstellungsthema Poker Face ist durch alltägliche Begegnungen und Geschichten von Menschen, die mir bekannt, aber auch unbekannt sind, entstanden. Ebenso beeinflusst wurde ich durch Filmszenen und persönliche Erlebnissen aus meinem Leben, sowie von den täglichen Gesellschaftsnachrichten. Durch mein Leben in zwei verschiedenen Kulturkreisen sind Konflikte und Kompromisse für mich zum Alltag geworden."

PROFIL DER KÜNSTERLIN
Ich sehe Dinge, die man im Alltag leicht übersieht und nehme Emotionen und Vorstellungen wahr, die mit dem Auge visuell erfasst werden können, diese jedoch nicht spüren kann, weil diese schon so lange um uns herum existieren und so zur Gewohnheiten werden.
Darum möchte ich eine Neubelebung und eine gewisse Stimulation hervorbringen die sich in meinen Werken zeigen.

Ok’s work is connected with contemporary ceramic art in the same vein in that it is the plastic work whose material is soil, but its impression or principle is close to painting rather than ceramic sculpture in that the tendency of plane delineation is strong. Especially, the canvas, associated with the feast of various brilliant colors, strengthens such an impression as painting. The main characteristic of her work is, above all, transparent clear color effects painted on each form. This vivid color or beautiful color state difficult to embody by the usual painting, was possible due to the process of drying by heating.
